PRECISION RESIZING DIES – 6MM GT PRECISION RESIZING DIE

The new Precision Resizing Dies are the culmination of years of shooting and reloading precision rifle cartridges.  The design and execution of the Precision Resizing Dies are pure Short Action Customs innovation and demand for excellence

Each Precision Resizing Die is designed to size the cartridge shoulder a minimal amount to prevent over working the brass, yet allow for proper feeding and function. The base of the cartridge is sized more than a standard die to ensure brass that is “fired and tired” can still be used with out any clicking or sticky bolt close due to enlarged base diameters. Important details such as neck/shoulder radius and neck diameters are carefully derived from the parent cartridge’s body geometry ensuring that sized brass has the parent cartridges true geometry.

  • New Material offers increased surface finish and core strength compared to 416 Stainless and 12L14.
  • New Heat Treat offers a surface hardness up to 80 Rockwell on the C scale, yet offers increased lubricity compared to standard heat treat and Salt Bath Nitriding/Melojnite.
  • Die bodies are machined in two operations and are extremely true.
  • Uses standard 7/8 x 14 external threads to secure to any standard reloading press.

These dies use SAC's Neck/Shoulder Sizing Bushings. Since the Bushings control sizing of the Neck and Shoulder, these die bodies may work with similar cartridges within the same family. For example, the Creedmoor Die Body can be used for 22, 6mm, 25, and 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridges depending on the Neck/Shoulder Bushing purchased.

Neck/Shoulder Bushings must be purchased seperately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these brass cases and reloading components factory-new or once-fired? +

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
