Built to survive the outdoors, water, dust and abuse of all kinds the NANUK 985 is a clear favorite of sportsmen, sportswomen, hunters, law enforcement and the military due to its relatively compact size and its compatibility with firearms. In fact, this is the perfect size long case for civilian car and police cruiser trunks and fits a single rifle, AR-15, takedown shotgun and many other guns. The NANUK 985 features two spring-loaded handles and rolls smoothly on its polyurethane wheels also making it the perfect protection solution for photo and video pros who trust the NANUK 985 as a lighting kit travel case or a tripod hard case. Built to organize, protect, carry and survive tough conditions, the 985 waterproof hard case is impenetrable and indestructible with a lightweight, tough NK-7 resin shell. Its four (4) PowerClaw latches, two of which feature an integrated TSA accepted key lock, keep your equipment securely locked during transit but accessible for inspection by the TSA when required. With NANUK’s exclusive locking and latching system, your case stays shut and secured until you are ready to open it. This indestructible MIL-Spec case is equipped with a lid stay feature to keep the case safely open when in use and reinforced stainless-steel eyelets can be used to secure additional padlocks. The NANUK 985 protective case comes with a soft grip and ergonomic handle to make it easy and comfortable to transport. The handle features stainless steel hardware and is spring-loaded to keep it out of harm’s way when traveling or during shipping. This transport case is also equipped with an automatic pressure release valve and an integrated bezel system. This MIL-Spec injection molded case is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Are these brass cases and reloading components factory-new or once-fired? +

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
