Lapua’s 6mm Creedmoor case is a necked down version of the extremely popular 6.5mm Creedmoor. It is designed to produce higher velocities, flatter trajectories, and reduced recoil.
 
Customer demand for a 6mm version followed almost immediately after the release of the original Creedmoor case. Aside from the neck dimensions, the Lapua 6mm Creedmoor case shares the same features and characteristics that make Lapua the standard for 6.5 Creedmoor brass. It is a beautifully drawn case, properly annealed at the neck and shoulder, with head metallurgy specifically chosen for durability, and the same small rifle primer, small flash-hole design that delivers the ultimate accuracy edge. The smaller 6mm bore diameter offers an excellent selection of proven low-drag match bullets that offer outstanding long range performance with even less recoil.
 
While the original 6.5 Creedmoor was designed with NRA High Power competition in mind, other disciplines, including Precision Rifle Shooting or PRS, were quick to see the positive attributes of this cartridge. We know Lapua’s 6 mm Creedmoor offering will find a niche with discerning shooters in demanding competitive disciplines. Whether it’s a timed run against steel at unknown ranges, or the precision of placing shots in the X-ring, this Lapua case is just right for you. The case available in the new cardboard 100 pcs Lapua brass box. The brand new case box has been designed to keep Lapua brass in pristine condition during shipping, ensuring that your reloading experience is on the best level.
 
Due to the continued high product demand and the prevailing market conditions impacted especially by the Ukraine situation, the availability of some of our products is unfortunately limited and delivery times have become extended. To better serve our civilian and military obligations, some of our components will be temporarily suspended from production, including the6 mm Creedmoor. This is due to prioritizing production lines. For our consumer customers, it means that some Lapua products will probably be out of stock in many places in the world for some time to come. This doesn’t mean that we are cancelling any products. It is our intention to resume production of these products as soon as market conditions stabilize. We’re also taking necessary steps at our production sites to improve production capabilities with e.g. new production lines installed during 2023 and 2024. We work as hard as we can every day on all of our sites to produce high-quality ammo and components for you and aim to serve you at normal levels as soon as possible.

Are these brass cases and reloading components factory-new or once-fired? +

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
