AR-15 PEAK ULTRALIGHT FIXED IRON SIGHTS – AR-15 PEAK/01 FIXED IRON FRONT SIGHT BLACK

Description

Original price was: $129.00.Current price is: $102.61.

Scalarworks Peak Iron Sights are for shooters who want the familiarity of classic AR-15 fixed sights, with upgrades to make them more suitable for modern tactical carbines. The Scalarworks crew designed the Peaks for a 15" sight radius, making them far more suitable for AR-15 carbine use than old "A2" sights designed for an M16A2 rifle’s 20" radius.

Peak Iron sights are manually adjustable for elevation (front) and windage (rear) in 1/2 MOA clicks. The front sight post is machined to the correct width for the 15" sight radius and its flat-face eliminates highlight bias. The rear sight’s peep presents a flat surface to the shooter as well to prevent distorting shadows and/or glare caused by the mil-spec A2 peep’s concave rear face.

  • Machined 7075 T6 aluminum – far stronger than standard 6061 alloy
  • Black Mil-A-8625 Type III hardcoat anodized
  • 4140H steel hardware with Black Nitride finish
  • 36mm (1.42") height over rail
  • Front post: 1.35mm wide
  • Rear flip apertures: 1.78mm (.07") and 5.08mm (.20")

As a bonus, Peak Fixed Sights are designed to sit 36mm above the rail, making them ideal as backup sights for an Aimpoint optic mounted on a Scalarworks Leap Mount (available separately). Mount a set on your carbine and see just how effective iron sights can be!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these brass cases and reloading components factory-new or once-fired? +

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
