HENRY REPEATING ARMS H10 EXPLORER .45-70 GOVERNMENT LEVER ACTION RIFLE

The Henry H10 Explorer .45-70 Gov’t brings the raw, hard-hitting authority of a legendary American cartridge into a compact, fast-handling platform designed for the modern hunter. Built around Henry’s iconic lever-action heritage, the H10 Explorer trims weight and overall length without compromising performance, making it ideal for heavy timber, tight blinds, or steep country where maneuverability matters most. Its 16.5” barrel and rugged Burnt Bronze Cerakote finish give the rifle a sleek, field-ready look while ensuring durability through harsh weather and demanding terrain.

True to Henry tradition, every component of the H10 Explorer reflects meticulous craftsmanship and practical design. The American Walnut stock features crisp checkering and a comfortable pistol-grip profile for secure handling, and the ventilated rubber recoil pad tamps down the stout energy of the .45-70 Gov’t. The precision semi-buckhorn rear sight with diamond insert pairs with the classic brass bead front sight for quick alignment in the woods, while the drilled-and-tapped steel receiver accommodates Weaver 63B mounts for shooters who prefer optics. At just 7 pounds and 35.5 inches overall, this carbine-length configuration offers an ideal balance of portability, stability, and unmistakable Henry feel.

Ready for serious game, the H10 Explorer is built for hunters who pursue big-bodied animals—deer, bear, hogs, moose, even elk at 100 yards—or anyone who wants a rifle that carries as confidently as it shoots. Practical upgrades like sling swivel studs and a 5/8×24 threaded barrel allow for suppressors or muzzle devices, expanding its versatility for modern field use. With ambidextrous operation, Henry’s dependable transfer-bar safety, and the enduring quality of American manufacturing, the H10 Explorer .45-70 Gov’t stands as a rugged, reliable tool with the soul of a classic. This is a rifle built to be used, trusted, and admired—exactly what you expect when it wears the Henry name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these brass cases and reloading components factory-new or once-fired? +

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
