Lancer set out to design a better 5.56 magazine, one with the reliability of steel and the durability and weight of polymer. The L5 Advanced Warfighter Magazine (AWM®) is that magazine. The GEN 2 features an all-new precision engineered feed lip design, stainless steel spring, anti-tilt follower and new floorplate lock, the new L5AWM GEN 2 is positioned to secure its place as the leading professional grade “STANAG style” magazine on the market.
 
The L5AWM’s exclusive hybrid design includes a proprietary polymer body with aggressive surface texturing to create the ultimate rifle magazine tough enough for military, law enforcement, and competition applications.
 
The L5AWM is compatible with modern weapon systems, including M4/M16/AR15, SCAR16, HK416, ARX160, SIG556, ARC, SIG MCX, IWI Tavor, IWI X95, SA80, chambered in 5.56x45mm / .223 Remington.
 
The L5AWM GEN 2 delivers up to a 22% reduction in insertion force, allowing for smoother and more reliable seating on a closed bolt. Its proprietary high-strength polymer body is engineered for exceptional durability and dependable performance in the harshest environments, with testing conducted from –40°F to +180°F to ensure consistent function across extreme temperature ranges. Reinforced by hardened steel feed lips, the magazine resists wear, bending, cracking, deforming, or splitting—even during heavy sustained fire, aggressive temperature cycling, or long-term loaded storage.
 
Designed to meet or exceed military impact and chemical-resistance standards, the magazine’s body offers long-term reliability in demanding conditions. An anti-tilt follower paired with a stainless steel spring maintains smooth, consistent feeding and allows the magazine to remain loaded for extended periods without degrading performance. Select models feature translucent bodies along with molded round count indicators, giving users an instant visual check of their ammunition load.

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Will this case trimmer gauge or die set work with my progressive press setup? +

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
