The Grayboe M5 Floor Plate was created for 4 reasons:

Not all bullets/calibers fit and feed well in AICS magazines. Sometimes it just makes the most sense to use a tried and true Floor Plate bottom metal that you know will work.
Detachable magazines can get lost, accidentally drop out or make noise and rattle when hunting. Floor Plates are quiet and sit high and tight to the belly of the stock.
Grayboe is converting all stocks to the M5 inlet going forward. Our goal is to make custom stocks available as fast as possible to shooters. Limiting custom machining/inletting speeds up this process.
Now you can have 1 stock for hunting and range days. Use the M5 Floor Plate for your hunt and switch back to a M5 DBM and run detachable mags the other 11 months out of the year.

SPECS

Anodized matte black for exceptional wear resistance
Fits all stocks inlet for a M5 bottom metal. *If your stock is inlet for any other bottom metal this floor plate will not drop in and may require some fitting if your stock is not a Grayboe. Your stock must be inlet for a M5 bottom metal.
Compatible with Rem 700 and 700 clone actions like Bergara, BigHorn, Stiller, Defiance, etc.
Short length weighs 3 ounces, Long weighs 3.2 ounces
Smooth, sleek and snag free rounded trigger guard
Flush, snag free, inside the trigger guard hatch release lever
Compatible with Wyatt mag boxes
CNC machined out of billet aluminum

We stock both premium factory-new components and high-quality once-fired brass. Please check the specific product listing title and description carefully; once-fired brass is fully inspected, but we always recommend resizing and inspecting prior to priming and powder charging.

Our standard reloading dies and case length trimmer accessories utilize industry-standard threads (typically 7/8"-14) compatible with major single-stage, turret, and progressive presses like RCBS, Hornady, Lee Precision, and Dillon. Caliber-specific trim gauges must match your exact brass caliber.

Do you enforce shipping restrictions on powder, primers, or live ammunition? +

Yes. Non-hazardous reloading equipment (dies, case length trimmers, gauges, and unprimed brass) ships via standard ground carriers with no extra fees. Any orders containing smokeless powders or primers will incur standard federal HazMat handling fees and cannot be shipped via air transportation.

How can I track my shipment to ensure delivery safety? +

Precision reloading gear is valuable, so all orders are shipped with tracking enabled. As soon as your package is dispatched from our inventory warehouse, a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can monitor your shipment directly on our Track Order page using your unique Order ID.

Can I return precision measuring tools or die components if they don’t fit? +

We accept returns on unused, unaltered tools, case preparation equipment, and unopened component boxes within 30 days of item delivery. Due to safety and strict quality control on the reloading bench, we absolutely cannot accept returns on opened packs of primers, smokeless powder, or processed brass casings.
